Peru is situated on the West coast of South America and is bordered by Ecuador, Columbia, Brazil, Bolivia and Chile. It is the third largest country in South America. A remote slope of Nevado Mismi, a 5,316 m peak, is the ultimate source of the Amazon River.

Divided into three geographical regions, the coastal dessert strip, the rugged mountain ranges and the Amazon basin. The ancient pre- Inca history and Inca Empire influence on Peru truly offers a very interesting experience with the ultimate visit to Machu Picchu and the Inca Trail. Not forgetting the intriguing Nazca lines and one of the deepest canyons in the world.
